Mountain States Historical is a small cultural resource consulting firm working with historic sites in the Rocky Mountain states. Mining and industry is our specialty, and we often assess abandoned mines, ghost towns, and old buildings and structures.
Based in Colorado, our services range from cultural resource compliance (Section 106), to historic preservation, to heritage tourism. We perform research, full-site documentation, interpretation, management guidance, and National Register of Historic Places nominations.
